Don’t miss the opportunity to travel from the dance halls of yesterday to the present with dance-on-screen duo Kabecca Films, who will be leading a dance workshop for all abilities. Based on movement from their highly-commended documentary ‘Twenty, Forty, Sixty’, which tells a sixty-year-old woman’s life story through dance, this session will evoke memories for those of a similar generation and introduce others to new movement. The pair’s work is focused on celebrating the positive impact that dance has on mental and physical wellbeing whilst increasing representation of and creating platforms for sixty-plus women’s stories to be heard. This workshop is open to anyone who would like to get involved!
