Women Over 50 Film Festival (WOFFF) has collected some of their favourite shorts from their 2020 festival for us this year. Films that put older women front and centre on the screen and behind the camera.
WOFFF films are as varied as the filmmakers who make them. This year’s Leytonstone Loves Film programme boasts tales of love, work, family and COVID, films about the highs and lows of menopause, a woman who’s planted over 9 million trees and another one who’s a champion packer of tinned sardines. So come and join us for a fantastic programme of short films celebrating older women and the people who love them!
In addition to the film screening, there will be an opportunity for all attendees to take part in a fun, open to all short movement activity led by Kabecca Films who are dance-on-screen filmmakers who have previously had work screened as part of WOFFF's Best of The Fest. This activity responds to a film shared within the WOFFF programme and no dance experience is needed to participate.
