What is a Watch Party?

A watch party is a way to share films with an audience over the internet. The idea is that everyone watches the film at the same time and then gathers on various internet platforms to talk about the screening. Each of the LLF watch parties is slightly different and takes place across Zoom, Youtube or partner websites.

Where is this event happening?

These live and interactive events are completely online. Each screening will take place either on Youtube, Zoom or Eventbrite (check each listing for details)

How do I attend this event?

This is a free but ticketed event. Once you've booked a ticket, you'll be sent instructions by email on how to join event whether it is through a Zoom call, YouTube or Eventbrite link.

Is the film included in my ticket?

All the films programmed for the watch parties are available for free. You can access them via the link in the event listing.

What is Zoom?

Zoom is free to use video conferencing software. When you make an account you don’t have to hand over personal information or any payment information. It’s really quick and simple. The event on Zoom will be a private event, you won’t be broadcast online. All guests will have their video and microphone turned off but will be able to communicate with the hosts via the chat function.
